Hello I'm a Resource Teacher for the Brighthorizons Daycare Center at Gilead in Foster City. I've worked with all age groups (infants, ones, twos, threes, fours, preschool, kindergarten) and I'm used to maintaining a classroom of 8 babies/toddlers or 20+ kids! As a resource teacher, I get a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can choose when to go in to the center, so your family would be my first priority if I work for you! I have experience caring for individual families, and would love the opportunity to provide care for your family! For each family I work with, I keep a spreadsheet to track feedings, diaper changes, naps, and playtimes. You'll be able to keep track of your child's day, as well as have data about your child's eating, digestive, and sleep habits. I'll also write down what your baby did during their wake windows! Whatever schedule you wish to create for your baby, I will help you by sticking to it and taking any requests you have for the care of your baby!

We hired Jessica for our 1-year old daughter just this month. I immediately was drawn to the fact that she works at the Bright Horizons daycare (in Gilead), and thought she could even teach me a thing or two about childcare! I am so extremely happy that I found Jessica and I think even more than me, my daughter was really happy with her the entire time, which was surprising to me since she can be quite a fussy baby! Jessica's main value proposition is that she is SO LOVING. She literally exudes positive energy and love and compassion for the kids under her care. I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to find another nanny who will love kids as much as she does. She is also very adept at diaper changes, bathing, clothes changes, feeding (milk and solids), and keeping to a schedule. She is also very much into "gentle parenting," so her methods are centered around keeping the baby HAPPY. She doesn't rush things, and I love that about her. She was also always prompt and punctual. Seriously, I cannot recommend Jessica enough!
