About Jessica

Hello! My name is Jessica, feel free to call me "Jessie." I identify as a cisgender female with she/her pronouns. I'm currently a graduate student at Columbia University in NYC to earn my Master's Degree in Social Work. Throughout my life from teenage years onto my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Monmouth University, I've always worked with families and children. Since then, I have worked in various different settings, industries, and cultures. In the past year, I was a contractor for Mobile Crisis Intervention which are dispatched services where counselors attend the homes of children who are experiencing mental health emergencies. (Experiences including but not limited to: suicidal and homicidal ideation, behavioral outbursts and aggression, addiction/substance use, grief and depression.) I also attended EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) School during the COVID-19 pandemic as I felt the need to help others in my community.
