About Jessica

Hi parents! I am a school librarian here in NYC and I would love to help you with your child/children this summer! I live in LIC near the 7 and G trains, I'm happy to pitch in with errands and laundry, and I've got a fair bit of experience with kids with special needs. I babysat for many years before becoming a school librarian (through high school, college, and graduate school) and I really miss being around younger children now that my son is a teenager. I am fingerprinted and certified by the city and state and you can count on your child's well-being and safety always being my top priority. I am a great communicator, fairly organized, and happy to keep everyone away from screens as much as you like. Also: I love to read, explore museums, engage in arts activities, co-create stories, take walks, ride the ferries, and enjoy the parks. My favorite thing to do, however, is probably visit our city's fantastic libraries and engage kids' curiosity.
