Hello my name is Jess. I am a prospective graduate student at Naropa studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, empathetic, and creative. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy listening to their life stories and offering companionship. I'm looking for a job where I can form relationships with people and form a better understanding of how to care for others by understanding their needs. To prepare myself for work in the mental health field. I started caring for seniors when I realized that I wanted to lend a hand to people that may not have anyone else to care for them. So they don't feel alone. In my spare time, I like to hike, garden, study herbalism, and drink tea. One thing you should know about me is I love to cook healthy meals for people. My skills include cooking, helping with daily tasks, and listening to whatever people are going through and offering emotional support.
