About Jessica

Hi! I am a trained reading interventionist with ample experience and professional development. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in special education and have worked in public education for 9 years as a licensed Special Education Generalist (5-21) and Elementary Education Teacher (K-6). I am trained in the science of reading and have developed and implemented individualized reading plans for various reading disabilities, including Dyslexia. Most recently I worked for Children's Hospital Colorado on the learning team as a Learning Specialist and provided in depth learning evaluations and reading therapy. This summer I am offering the following services as a private tutor: - Literacy Skills Assessments (ages 7-11/grades 2-5) - Reading Intervention: Orton Gillingham approach Rates and scheduling upon discussion.
