About Jessica

Hi! I'm Jess and I have years of experience tutoring through parents hiring me, in school tutoring, as well as volunteer work in local schools and through non-profits. I am patient, gregarious, empathetic and kind and I think that is why children respond to me so well. I have a graduate degree in architecture but am adept at many subjects and grade levels (including very early childhood education) including math, reading and literature, science and creative pursuits of all kinds. I find joy in pursuing my own intellectual curiosities and that enthusiasm expresses itself while tutoring. Along with my graduate studies, I took several courses in early childhood education and development during while pursuing my undergraduate degree. I have been nannying or babysitting in some capacity for nearly 20 years. Kids bring me joy and seeing them grow and learn and be proud of their accomplishments is very gratifying.
