About Jessica

I am a certified teacher working as an elementary educator in the Portage school district. I have been teaching for 8 years and have had 10+ years experience with remediation, tutoring, and substitute teaching programs. My specialty is working with struggling students and students with special needs from learning disabilities to autism spectrum to attention disorders. All lessons are tailor made for the child and their needs. Since I am still a working teacher I am very familiar with the latest teaching methods, standardized tests, and state standards. Teaching is my passion and I truly enjoy helping students succeed.
