About Jessica

I have worked with children since I was a teenager babysitting family friends and neighbors. While in college I was a Nanny while student teaching in an Infant/Toddler and Great Start Readiness Program. Since graduating I have taught Summer Camp/School age, Preschool, Young Preschool and Infants. I love working with kids and helping them discover and explore the world around them. I'm passionate about making learning experiences fun and dynamic for all involved. I love reading, arts and crafts, games and learning new things. I am very easy going, kind, creative and responsible. I love teaching through play based activities with open ended materials so children can learn to problem solve and explore plenty of different things in different ways. I also love teaching infants basic baby signs to foster more communication with them. I'm always playing right on the floor with the little ones and playing side by side with the older ones.
