Throughout my life I have worked with children and adults in different capacities. From caring for young toddlers, supervising an afterschool program, to becoming a state certified VPK teacher, and then on to the public school system as an Instructional Assistant in an ESE classroom and as a caregiver for adults with special needs. In addition to my professional work I have been involved in the Special Olympics of Florida. I have also been a tutor, babysitter, and pet-sitter throughout my career. I recently graduated from the University of South Florida with a B. A. in Psychology after working full time and raising my two children for the last 16 years. Care. com offers me the ability to keep a flexible work schedule while caring for my children and continue to be in a profession that I love. I believe I can be a source of respite for parents or family members and a source of fun, kindness, and educational support for their children and loved ones.
