The following are the tasks that I do as a housekeeper: Clean floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Change bedding and make beds as directed. Gather and empty trash. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Move and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Polish floors. Clean chimneys. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs. Spray insecticides and fumigants as directed to prevent insect infestation. Replace light bulbs. Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items. Run errands if needed. Mow lawn if equipment is provided as needed.
