About Jessica

Kindergarten teacher here! I have been teaching kindergarten for 6 years and have 5 years experience as a certified teacher in a state funded 4-year-old pre-k as well. I graduated with a bachelor degree in elementary education with a minor in early childhood education in 2013. Prior to beginning my teaching career, I had approximately 10 years of experience babysitting children ranging in ages from newborn to 11 years old, including a child with cystic fibrosis. My student teaching included 10 weeks in a second grade classroom and 6 weeks in a special education preschool. I am a caring and compassionate person with a great heart. I am energetic and enthusiastic and love teaching and interacting with children as they learn new things and explore their world. I currently have open availability any day of the week due to summer break, but once school begins again, I will be available on weekends only. Please contact me for more information or references! I’ve known Jessica since she moved to Florida. She has taken care of my 1 1/2 year old several times. My baby is the type that she either loves you or she doesn’t and she LOVES Jessica. I think it’s because she harbors a safe space for her and shows her kindness and is present when caring for her. If you are as cautious as I am, I highly recommend hiring Jessica to care for your children.
