Jesse worked for me for about five months while I was working and had two kids. In those months she has become a great figure in my children’s life. Jesse was a nanny/babysitter for my 2 year old and 7 month old (3 months at the start of the contract). Jesse promptly asked questions regarding the kids and what my expectations were prior to the start and frequently checked in to ensure she was meeting the expectations. She was extremely flexible in the schedule and days worked and had only one sick day needed in her service with us - in which she let us know promptly and was able to add an extra day to make up for it. Jesse successfully helped potty train our two year old. Over a weekend I texted her saying we’re starting potty training will you help during the week, and while that wasn’t agreed-upon before, she was eager to help and asked what she needed to do. My three month old at the time was a very bad sleeper and she was patient and kind with his bad nap schedules all while caring for the 2 year old. Patience paid off and the two had naps at the same time towards the end and she would power clean the house and pick up the toys as needed. Our kids had so much fun with Jesse! Our infant grew to recognize her and our toddler would scream “JESSE” every morning, promptly asking for numerous messy play things that I never wanted to deal with. Jesse frequently set up painting, coloring and jumping in mud piles whenever the time allowed. The mental load for working parents is a lot ! Jesse was able to help with this through the course of her employment. Each night she would ensure the house was tidier than when she got in, laundry was put in and switched (even if it wasn’t the kiddos), and the counter / dishes were always cleared. Additionally, she frequently utilized her afternoon activity with the kids as a trip to the grocery store or Target to ensure we had groceries needed! We also had a dog and she would take him out for a quick potty break or run in the yard. While I am no longer working and do not need a regular nanny - we are definitely looking forward to using her for the occasional date night! We would recommend her to anyone looking.
