About Jessica

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, energetic, and adventurous. I like working with kids because because I want to have a positive impact on the lives of children, build relationships with children and their families, and have the opportunity to learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that I can make a difference in someone's life because I believe that social interaction and companionship can have significant positive effects on somebody's well-being. I started working with kids when I was in high school. When I was in collage I was a nanny to two boys who were under the age of 8 and one was autistic. In my spare time, I like to be express my creativity by sewing or doing embroidery work and being out in nature with my two dogs. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable, organized and love to be ready to help in any situation. My skills include patience, verbal and nonverbal communication, sensitivity, and empathy.
