About Jessica

I like working with kids because I feel as though we can learn from each other. Kids tend to have a perspective on life that I find very refreshing, especially for a college student like myself! When I am working with kids, I am devoted to forming a connection with them! For the kids I have nannied in the past, my goal has always been to make them feel comfortable, safe to express themselves, and understood. I never want kiddos to feel like I'm not engaged with them or uninterested in what they're saying. I think it's better to engage in activities and conversations with them instead of merely supervising them! I lead with patience, and am conscious when it comes to "correcting" them. Rather than constantly correcting my little buddies, I aim to work WITH them to help find a solution for whatever situation we may encounter. In my spare time, I like to strum on my guitar, hang out with friends, and listen to music. I also have references available, just message me!
