I began caregiving in 2017 at a facility in Tucson, AZ, where I was caring for up to 10 clients at a time, most of whom had dementia or Alzheimer's. This care included meal prep, bathing, dressing, toileting, medication administration, companion care. Since I moved to Texas, I have focused on in-home, one-on-one care for disabled adults as well as aging adults. I've gained experience with tracheostomies, ventilators, feeding tubes and colostomies; I'm always eager to learn more. I am currently a nursing student at UT Health and am eager to provide quality, compassionate care on the weekends.
