About Jessica

Thank you for visiting my Care. com profile! My entire life has been devoted to working with children. At a young age I began babysitting my four younger siblings, which lead me to many child-focused jobs in high school and encouraged me to pursue a degree in education at Penn State University. I graduated in 2015 with my Bachelors degree in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education and a minor in Special Education. I began teaching, first at a childcare center with early learners, then as an elementary school teacher. Since moving to Nottingham, PA I have nannied for a handful of families. I am now looking for a nannying role where I can use my experience to help teach and care for children in addition to my own. My goal is to create a daily structure for our children that is conducive for developmentally appropriate play, socialization, self expression and personal growth.
