Hi! I'm Jess! I have nearly 20 years of experience as a career nanny, excellent references, and CPR and First Aid certification. I specialize in engaging children of all ages; playing on the floor, making reading fun, finding climbing trees and going on outdoor adventures, creating sensory and educational activities geared towards a child's specific interests (and geared towards expanding those interests!). In addition to real-world nannying experience, I have also completed early education coursework, worked in Kindergarten and PreK classrooms, and with Montessori and Respectful Parenting practices for those families that follow them. Personally, I enjoy hiking, thrifting, and am an avid music fan. I love taking my dog, Queenie, out and about and being with family. I am taking time off from getting my master's degree in social work, during which I have interned doing play therapy with young children. I am hoping to find families that are looking for up to one year of help.

We worked with Ms Jess for about a year and a half when our first born was 6 or 7 months old to nearly 2. Ms Jess was NEVER late and was super reliable. She aligned with everything I wanted her to do (folding into helping me manage motherhood while I worked from home). She gave me space to step in and continue nursing and handle some naptime cuddles, which I wanted to be able to do. She kept his space clean. She helped me navigate early solid feeding. She was great I have no complaints. She’s super calm and gentle and by the time our son was mobile she would take him on little adventures and play outside. Highly recommend Ms Jess. We would hire her again in a second.
