About Jessica

Hello! My name is Jessica. I'm working to start my own tutoring (and soon-to-be an Educational Therapist). I have a Masters in Special Education at Chapman University, and currently have a ECSE teaching credential. I have 9 years of teaching and tutoring experience with as young as preschool to high school students. My heart belongs to those students with special needs, who struggle in school and need that one-on-one attention that they may or may not get at school. I can emphasize because I was once a student with special needs too! Besides working with special needs, I also work well with neurotypical students. I can work in any subject as long it is in my area of expertise. Whether the child needs to catch up on homework, work on a big project, or just wants to advance their skills, I'll be there for you! I usually like to get to know the student first, and assess what subject(s) that they need support in, and we will go from there.
