Jess began nannying for our little one when she was just 3 months old and now – how the time flies, my little one is now 8 months old! Jess has been a godsend and a dream come true, looking after our baby 5 days a week for about 30 hours a week here at our house while my husband and I both work from home. She has brought her little daughter Harper along for the ride (I believe Harper is somewhere in the 16-20 months old range?) and it’s been sweet for my little baby to have the chance to watch Harper dance and play, and now that she’s older, she can laugh along with Harper, which is sweet. Jess put me at ease right away when I first met her with a communication style that is open, honest, caring, and forthright. She’s 100% dedicated to our family and to doing her job fully, with love and with excellence. She checks in with me about my preferences all the time and is super conscientious, even calling or texting to say that she forgot this or that tiny thing that might inconvenience us. My husband and I trust Jess completely with my little one (she takes her out to the park every day) and my little one just loves her…my baby gives her the biggest smiles and will fall asleep on her at naptime. Jess has also babysat for both my kiddos for date nights at times. I have an older daughter who is two and Jess does a really beautiful job connecting with her as well. Being silly, redirecting her when she’s hung up on something, and giving her the praise and TLC that toddlers crave so much! Jess has also done a masterful job of guiding Harper with love and care to be gentle when petting our kitty or asking her not to rearrange the books in my office – things like that. Harper is a good little listener 99% of the time and the handful of times when she’s not, Jess is loving but firm. A wonderful mama and a wonderful nanny all round. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
