I have provided senior care to people in their old age. I have gained extensive experience in managing dementia, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's patients. I have acquired proficiency in medication management, mobility support, and creating structured routines to improve their quality of life. 

Through the years of caring for them, I have acquired a passion for the tasks I have been doing and have found personal fulfillment in helping them. I have realized my passion for social work. It has enabled me to transition without much difficulty to providing care giving to older people.

Jesse helped care for my dad after he became a widower almost two years ago and after my dad moved in with me.  From the start, he was a professional. He was always prompt, communicated well,  and most importantly, demonstrated empathy and respect for my father. We hired him knowing that his previous experience as a caregiver would likely be needed as my dad became less mobile, and that did happen over time. Jesse would adapt and be wonderful in his support, always careful with my dad and informing me consistently if he saw any potential issues. When my father was placed in hospice Jesse once again was willing to assist in ways that were critical in keeping my dad home with us in his last few weeks, for which we will forever be grateful. His calm demeanor and warmth was an absolute comfort to us as we dealt with my dad getting weaker until his eventual passing.  My dad was stubborn at times, resisting help from me or my sister, likely because we *were* his daughters. But he would often take gentle comments from Jesse to eat, or let Jesse assist because he considered Jesse a friend. We will never forget his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond in his assistance to us during the past two years. 

Jesse was attentive and always arrived on time to care for my late husband. He became part of our family and a friend to my husband.

Jesse James T. is a well-educated experienced  health care provider. He is sensitive to the patient's physical and mental needs and thus can provide aid for daily activities while serving as a companion who provides mental and intellectual stimulation. These comments are based on my close observations of Mr. T. who provided excellent care and companionship for a close friend who was a retired Corporate Lawyer

Jesse cared for my elderly father for nearly two years, supporting him through his cognitive and physical decline, the painful loss of his wife of 50 years to cancer, and his transition to assisted living.  Initially, Jesse engaged my father intellectually, reading books together and discussing a variety of topics from politics to travel to religion.  He ensured that my father was well fed, got fresh air and exercise, and was showered and clean shaven.  As my father's dementia progressed, Jesse was incredibly supportive in helping him with daily living functions, including changing, eating, bathroom use, and managing incontinence.  He was also invaluable in transporting our father to doctor's appointments.  Throughout his time with our family, Jesse was patient, flexible, and an incredible communicator.  He made himself available whenever we needed him.  Jesse brought our family so much peace of mind.  He is a diamond in the rough and a true blessing to the families he works with.

Jesse took care of my father for 2+ years from October 2017 to November 2019.  When Jesse was hired my father was 93 years old and had dementia for 5 years.  Jesse is patient, compassionate, understanding, trustworthy and dependable.  My father enjoyed his company and Jesse took great care of him from getting him up in the morning, to showering, to giving him his breakfast and lunch, bathroom breaks and whatever else my father needed during the course of the day.  We were very blessed and grateful that we never needed to worry about my father when left in Jesse's care.

Jesse cared for my husband, who had Parkinson's disease and dementia, for two years, until September 2019.   He handled the challenge of tactfully reasoning with a confused person, and of being companionable during daily walks or simply sitting quietly together.   He prepared and served, and during the past seven months fed by spoon, simple meals.  He dressed, bathed and changed my husband.   He was also helpful in the household, cleaning up in the kitchen and doing shopping for me.  He was a pleasant and steady presence in my home, utterly reliable and ready to help, and I am grateful for his friendship.  He is also an excellent driver.

I've known Jesse for at least 7 or 8 years, when he was assigned to St. Joseph's Parish in Lincoln, CA. Jesse was in charge of the youth group, gave wonderful retreats, and my husband and I became friends with Jesse, his wife and son, and we've stayed friends after he moved back East. He is, also, a very loving husband and father. Jesse has always been very professional, a genuine care giving person. He was liked by so many people in our Parish.   He is honest, has great integrity, loyal, and would be a great asset to you and your company.
