About Jesse James

I started working with kids at a very young age with my siblings, cousins and family friends. As I entered high school . I was interested in pursuing a career in teaching. I completed a technical career pathway and received a certificate in teaching along with graduating with honors. I graduated from Grossmont CC with an Associates to transfer in Math and an Associates in STEM. During that time I gained a year worth of experience at a Child Development Center. We specialized in working with children between the ages 0-5. I worked mostly with children between 2-5 (Toddler/Preschool). Now I am attending SDSU where I continue to work towards a BS in Mathematics. My skills include making age-appropriate conversation with children, using positive guidance, and communicating with parents to learn their children's strengths and the type of learning environment they are used to in their home to continue following through (being consistent).
