About Jesse

I'm looking for a job that provides a friendly and safe environment, with open communication. I transitioned from senior care to childcare in January 2023. I worked with seniors in their homes for 2 years before beginning at an early learning center. In my spare time I like to try new recipes, write letters and journal entries, and research new topics. I enjoy spending time outside when our Vegas weather allows it, and I love taking pictures! I currently work as a provider of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services to disenfranchised youth. Prior to this, I recently worked as a teacher at one of Las Vegas's 24 childcare centers. I am picking up extra gigs to go back to UNLV for graduate school in 2024! My area of study is Psychology and social work. My most valuable childcare skills include deescalating meltdowns, encouraging creative play, and facilitating smooth bedtime routines. I also take a lot of intention to serve clean and balanced meals that appeal to "kid taste buds."
