Hello! I worked 2 years as a paraprofessional for full classrooms, small groups, as well as one-on-one with children with special needs such as autism. I absolutely loved what I did until I had to move states a few weeks ago. I also worked as a full time babysitter for families with infants and toddlers. Young children are such a joy to work with. I practice gentle parenting as well as making sure to teach them certain skills or knowledge to work their brains while having fun. If I am doing any work around the house for the parents, I allow the child to help me so that they may feel involved. I play learning games so that they may always learn something new, which comes naturally to me as an educator. This is a job that I absolutely love and will do anything for the good of your child. Jesenia was phenomenal with my 2 year old daughter. She kept everything clean, made sure Madison was safe and absolutely loved her. She updated me with photos of Madison changed, eating, and playing throughout the day. Jesenia would be so patient and loving with her, even if Madison wasn't doing what she was supposed to, Jesenia really handled it well. I would definitely request for her again.
