I'm a dependable childcare professional with 7+ yrs of experience working with children , teens, and young adults in school, home, and community settings. Background includes babysitting, working in group homes, and serving as a Peer Advocate supporting ages 9-22. I have experience in a District 75 school setting, supporting children with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges. This strengthened my ability to remain patient, calm, attentive, and consistent while providing structure and individualized support. With a background in Human Services and Early Childhood Development, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. I'm comfortable assisting with homework, routines, meals, activities, outdoor play, and social-emotional support.
