I enjoy reading, walking, being outside, sketching, painting, arts and crafts and baking. I have 3 brothers, my 2nd brother is severely autistic. I began babysitting around age 8 for my 2 younger brothers and caring for my autistic brother was hard but I gained a lot of experience. I am also very fluent in Spanish and know some ASL. Because of these skills, I feel comfortable caring for a child/youth who has autism and/or is Deaf/ HOH (Hard of Hearing). Caring, playing with babies, and kids brings me joy, gives me purpose, knowing I can help them feel loved, learn new skills, blossom and develop. I also feel the same with preteens but interaction and level of care is different. I can help with homework but I'm a big believer in work and play. I'm soon to be CPR certified again this March. I also love animals, dogs, cats, fish, birds, etc.
