Parenthood is one of the most joyful life transitions, and also one of the most overwhelming! As a postpartum doula and nanny, I aim to support parents by providing practical, informational, and emotional support and knowledgeable, responsive, and respectful child care. As a mom myself, I know how important it is for caregivers to recognize the unique preciousness and delightfulness of the children in their care, and I truly find joy in each child! I have 20 years of experience caring for 0-5-year-olds as an adoptive and foster mom, nanny, preschool assistant teacher, DSP, and babysitter. I have a B. A. in psychology, and have completed an accredited newborn care specialist training as well as a postpartum doula training. I specialize in working with first time parents and infants, and in children with special needs, but I enjoy working with all children 0-5. Every child teaches me something new! Ms. Jenny was exactly what our family needed to make going back to work bearable for me. She was so attentive and kind to our sweet boy as he grew from a tiny newborn to an infant. Our son formed a deep secure attachment with her so quickly and was always so happy to see her. Looking back, I realized that along the way she was also teaching me to be a better mom! Jenny is knowledgeable, flexible and considerate. I didn’t think that I could ever trust someone with my sweet baby, but Jenny made it easy. We are profoundly grateful for the invaluable support she provided our family and we will miss her dearly.
