I am an experienced tutor for learners of all ages. I have been a full-time tutor since 2009, and have worked with hundreds of clients, ranging from K -- adult. I have a BS in Ed and I am state certified. I am also Montessori (AMS) certified for Elem I, Elem II, and Head of School. Before becoming a full-time tutor, I was a classroom teacher for 15+ years. I specialize in making concepts clear and meaningful by adapting my tutoring to each student's individual learning style. I use many hands-on materials and provide concise notes to give the learner the tools to be able remember and apply the material we have worked on. I tailor the tutoring to each learner's experiences. A first grader learning to read, a middle-school student struggling with algebra, a high school student preparing for SAT's, and an adult learner heading back to college have very different needs. What makes me unique is that I meet each and every student at his/her own level.

Jennifer was my tutor for around six weeks and helped me improve my GRE score. I had previously taken the GRE and wasn't extremely satisfied with my score and reached out for help. Over the course of six weeks she helped me prepare for the GRE and gave me structure on what to focus on. She always knew how to answer any question I may of had and prepared me well for the GRE. We focused on the entire test to make me feel the best going in to it. I highly recommend! She is awesome!!
