About Jennifer

I am a certificated teacher who has had classroom experience preschool through college level for over 13 years. I have Washington State endorsements in elementary education, library, media, and ELL. I believe the cornerstone to great educational experiences is building relationships between the teacher and student in order to get to know each student's individual experiences, strengths, and challenges. I've had training in research-based instructional practices, including trauma-informed instructions, ACES, and Universally Designed Learning. My Masters degree in Instructional Design has prepared me to effectively set learning goals based on the desired outcome, create instructional units, and appropriately assess student growth in order to determine next steps. I thoroughly enjoy working with learners to help them meet their goals, and to establish a joy of learning that will last a lifetime.
