If I could convince Jennifer and her family to move with us, I would make it happen in a heartbeat. Simply put, Jennifer is an amazing nanny, and we have been so blessed to have our daughter spend her first year and half with her. My husband calls Jennifer our own “Mary Poppins” and for good reason. Jennifer has all the social/emotional skills and a well rounded knowledge of child development needed to care for infants and small children. As a first time mom, she has been invaluable to me both as a thought partner and a sanity check when I start to feel nuts. She is prompt with communication, clear with how the day went, has transparent reporting of inevitable bumps and scraps. It’s a completely priceless feeling to know your child is in safe, capable, and loving hands. Any family would be lucky to have Jennifer. Details on our set up: I work from home in a relatively small house. After a couple months, it became quite obvious that it was far better to take our daughter to Jennifer’s home. She has a perfect set up with dedicated play and learning areas, a great backyard and quiet room for kiddo naps.
