About Jennifer

Hello. My name is Jennifer. I am currently seeking a nanny position that is part time-up to 35-40 hours. I am taking classes online to complete my BA in either Education or Human Services. I'm married (15 years) have two daughters (ages 8 & 13) and two grown step children. I have been a nanny for most of my adult life. When not working as a nanny I worked in office jobs. I began babysitting at age 11 and have loved working with kids since. I have to admit my perspective changed when I had children of my own. I know this is a serious commitment and the decisions you make while caring for children, are ones that will affect them for life, not just during the hours you spend with them each day. I understand the impact we have on children's lives and have the utmost respect for the positive role models that are out there. I take being a nanny seriously because I care and because that's how I would want others to be with my own children. Don't get me wrong, I like to have fun too, but I understand the seriousness of the job at hand. I have extensive experience and references. I have worked with ADHD and mild autism.
