About Jennifer

Hi, my name is Jenn and I am basically a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse. For 2 years I provided 24hr care for a 95-year-old woman with dementia. We became very close friends and had fun going on walks, to the horse stables, a leisurely drive, or just across the street to share a burger and fries. Dementia can be challenging and not everyone understands it. I stay positive using humor and/or compassion to deflect during situations that most would take offense to. I have no problem listening to the same stories throughout the day and engaging with interest. I assist with daily activities such as dressing, hygiene and bathing, meal preparation including shopping, laundry, cleaning, transportation & can do overnight shifts. I have a perfect driving record and clean background report. These can be provided along with Letters of Recommendation upon request.
