About Jennifer

I have a degree in Spanish and another in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. I have tutored various classmates and would love to share my knowledge with you or with your child. Language is my passion, and my approach is to start from the ground up with simple grammar with lots of retests to check for understanding. I teach the student to build a sentence then alter the sentence to form various grammatical structures. I believe that vocabulary is the least important element in learning a language and would prefer that my students understand the building blocks of Spanish, such as word order and pronoun usage, in order to speak and write in a way where they are understood. I also help with individual assignments: while I never complete the assignment for students, I teach them step-by-step how to gain all the necessary tools to answer each question, write the essay, etc.
