About Jennifer

Hi there! I'm Jennifer, and I'm 28 years old. I've been lucky enough to work with kids since I was one myself (11), and the awesome thing about that is that I never had to forget what it was like to be in their shoes or to see the world through their eyes. I've since gained knowledge, experience, and responsibility that of course helped me grow through so much, and I have continued to get to meet kids exactly where they are at and help them grow, too. My education at the University of Akron and ensuing work as an after-school teacher gave me a deeper understanding and broader vocabulary of things I'd already witnessed and learned from as a babysitter, mentor, and nanny. I have a passion for connecting with and learning from the unique story of every person I meet, and for helping kids grow up to do the same.
