Hi! My name is Jenny and I'm currently a freelance writer. I have always felt a strong connection to kids, and being the firstborn I have always taken care of them. I've spent significant time volunteering in nurseries with infants and taking care of toddlers, but I also enjoy caring for older kids. I've done loads of babysitting in the past, from infants to 12-year-olds, taking my kids on summer adventures and watching Disney + on rainy days. I enjoy creating genuine bonds with the children I care for and am open to long-term work! My primary goal is to ensure the safety and happiness of your children and make sure you are always relaxed knowing they're under my care. I have rescued a 6-year-old dog and a 3-year-old cat and nothing is more important to me when I leave town than knowing I can enjoy myself because I am confident the petsitter is taking good care of them, and that's what I want to give to parents. Jenny looked after my 2.5 and 4.5yo for date night. Her reference, a lead preschool teacher, gave her an outstanding recommendation. We recently relocated to Charleston, currently we are staying at hotel downtown, she requested I meet her in the lobby, to me, this request was an indicator of her judgment to create a safe situation for herself and how she would care for my children as well.
