I feel very lucky to have found a career where I look forward to going to work everyday. I have worked in the senior care industry for 10 years and absolutely love it. I began as a caregiver at an assisted living facility but transitioned to one on one care and really enjoy getting to know my clients and their families better. I'm a great cook and I love cleaning and organizing. I'm CPR and first aid certified, a trained medication technician, and have experience with catheters, colostomy bags, oxygen equipment, and diabetes management. I have a knack for navigating senior care bureacracy: - Helping with Social Security, Medicare, other government programs. - Setting up online accounts and automatic bill pay - Scheduling and keeping track of appoinments and prescriptions - Birthday cards and gifts - Whatever else comes up!
