I have a passion for working with children. I am a Special Education teacher and have worked in the education field for 22 years. During this experience, I have worked extensively in elementary, early childhood, and special education. I have experience in working with children with learning disabilities, ADHD, OCD, anxiety issues, Down syndrome and mild autism. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a master's in Elementary Education, and certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I also taught GED class for two years. I have 2 teenagers, and my oldest has type I diabetes, so I have experience with medical conditions as well. I thoroughly enjoy working with children. I believe in fostering confidence and self-esteem in children and guiding them to realize their own unique talents and gifts. I am available to work part time as a nanny, tutor, pet-sitter, or any other position that you think my assets could accommodate.
