I love children of all ages. I am available during various days on an as-needed basis. I work with many families in the area. I'm not a regular day to day babysitter due to other obligations. I am a retired elementary teacher. I have a 22-year-old son and an 20-year-old daughter. I will come to your home. Animals are OK. Smoking is not. I have a car. I do not park kids in front of the television. We play games, do arts & crafts/ developmental activities appropriate to child's age, and there's always something educational thrown into most things I do with the children. I also teach younger children who are nonverbal sign language to help improve expressive communication. I have an abundance of reviews from families, both past and present. I will take care of sick kids who cannot go to school or daycare because of fevers, etc. I am fully vaccinated & have all booster shots. I would welcome the opportunity to meet. Message me!

Ginger is an absolute LIFESAVER. She has become an honorary member of our family in the almost two years that she has been with our family. As a family with multiple needs and transitions, she has seamlessly made herself indispensable to our household. She cooks, cleans, does laundry, runs errands, takes care of our 100+lb dog, and most importantly, is a consistent, reliable, affectionate teacher and caregiver to our almost two-year-old son. He absolutely adores Miss Ginger, and they are securely bonded. Ginger regularly takes our son on fun outings, showers him with gifts, teaches him proper ASL, and actively participates in his therapy sessions. Ginger is consistently trustworthy, protective, and loving. She has a good heart and is obviously made for this work. I recommend her without reservation.
