About Jennifer

Fueling children's curiosity and growth is my passion. As a Chicago Public Schools PreK teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching children from PreK through 2nd grade, I bring patience, a calm demeanor, and a friendly approach to childcare. I am comfortable caring for up to three children of varying ages, from infants to preteens. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I am also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and crafts. I always communicate with parents using their preferred method, and I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I hold a bachelor's degree in Child Development and a graduate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and an Early Childhood approval in special education. With my two college-aged children and two dogs, I understand the needs of a busy family. I look forward to making this summer a fun and enriching experience for your children.
