I took care of my grandparents in their later years and loved being able to help them. Now that my two children are in college I have time and the desire to help other families by serving their needs with love and patience. I've worked for the past 4 and a half years with the elderly ladies, some with dementia as a part time caregiver. I have experience with companionship, food preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, toileting, dressing and grooming. I've also worked as a substitute teacher in a Christian school and volunteering to deliver food to the elderly in Detroit through my church. I am happy to help with meal preparation, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and companionship.
