About Jennifer

I have over 10 years of experience as a babysitter and nanny. I am a certified elementary school teacher. I have provided interventions for students struggling with math and reading and have been a 3rd grade teacher for the past 2 years. I enjoy getting the opportunity to think outside the box and create activities where kids will have fun. Scavenger hunts, art projects, epic pillow forts, water balloon relays, and exploding chalk are just a few. I have provided care for children ages 2mo.-16 years. I am able to provide tutoring services with my training in reading and math interventions. I have also had CORE foster training, which includes working with kids who have a trauma response. I have my own vehicle and a clean driving record. I would love the opportunity to meet with you and see if it would be a good fit for both of us. Sidenote: I moved to Oswego, IL for the summer to help care for my grandma, but am in the process of relocating.

Jenn is wonderful with the kids. She finds engaging activities for them but also makes time for quiet activities as well. She treats them with respect, but also requires them to understand their boundaries and respect others. The kids really love her and look forward to their time with her.
