Hello! I have worked with children ever since taking on babysitting jobs as a teenager. I have a Masters in education and spent most of my career teaching, coaching and counseling kids and families before becoming a stay at home mom for my soon-to-be 4-year-old son. Now that he's in daycare, I'm looking to work full-time as a nanny because caring for young children and watching them grow into the world around them is the most amazing gift there is. In addition to caring for my own child, I helped my sisters with their infants during my summers off. I especially love caring for infants and toddlers, and would love to find a job for one child that I can give all my attention, but am certainly open to caring for multiple children. I am Infant/Pediatric CPR certified and was CORI checked and fingerprinted for my counseling job last year. I am willing to travel and transport children and am very empathetic, patient, and creative.

I am writing this review on behalf of Jen with whom I hired to care for my 10 month old son. Jen possesses many strengths, however, I am most taken with her ability to attune to my son and understand right away what he is needing. Jen is astute and smart. She has the capacity to think intuitively and make sound judgements and decisions in the moment. She always asks for help when she needs it and she runs things by me which I really appreciate. She can often be heard singing to my son, and laughing. Jen is extremely warm and caring, allowing both children and adults to connect with her quickly. She works diligently to meet our needs and has always been dependable and reliable. It has been a pleasure to work with Jen as she is a wonderful caretaker and she is incredibly invested in her work. I'd hire Jen over and over and over again ! We love her and will miss her dearly. I know she will love her next family just as much, and for that you are extremely lucky if you end up hiring Jen
