I have been in childcare for over 20 years. I specialize in infant and toddler care, creating healthy sleep routines, meeting milestones, teaching life skills and encouraging independence all while having infinite patience for young developing minds. I enjoy singing silly songs, playing outside, reading books, eating veggies, and providing loving care to all children.

One of Jennifer’s strengths is her communication. We received her schedule for her other career 2-3 months in advance so that we could schedule around it accordingly. (August/September is a busy time with her other commitment) 
She also kept a care log notebook to communicate things like meals, naps, and diapers during her time with our son. 
She is very knowledgeable on all things baby development!

Jen is wonderful. Cannot say enough great things. Our daughter loved her and made huge strides with the 1:1 attention and care Jen gave. Year one as new parents came with so many "firsts" and Jen helped us navigate all of these transitions. From going back to work while pumping, introducing solid foods, developmental milestones such as rolling over/crawling/walking, to even starting potty training at 13mo we so appreciated her time with our kiddo.

Jen is one of the best nannies we have hired to provide care for our son. She is highly engaged, while still following a child's lead.  She is infinitely patient and has a keen ability to recognize what a child is communicating through their behavior or burgeoning language. Jen is an attentive, caring, conscientious nanny for our 5-month-old. She is also an excellent communicator with me and my husband. We feel very fortunate to have found her.

Jennifer has been our nanny for about 8 months.  During that time she cared for our now 18 month old son.  She comes with plenty of experience and knowledge about childhood development.  Jennifer focused on caring for our child, listening to him and teaching him.  If Jennifer is not making our son food then she is typically found on the floor playing with him or leading him in an activity.  

One aspect of childcare that I think Jennifer excels at is her ability to listen and communicate with our son.  Jennifer began watching our son at 10 months of age.  Within the first week she seemed to be recognizing and understanding his methods of communication.  She picked up on potty times, him asking for certain things (mostly types of food) and even recognized his first words.  Before his first words Jennifer taught him sign language for many everyday objects and needs. It was wonderful to see, even if it made us a bit jealous.  As Jennifer has progressed with our child he has learned to share, is almost potty trained and communicates with manners.  

Jennifer has been extremely reliable and punctual arriving at our home and is flexible if we aren't going to be home as early as expected. 

I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for childcare.  Her focus on and care for children go unmatched and it has been wonderful to see our son progress under her care at our home.

I found Jennifer on Care.com and hired her to care for our 1 year old son 30 hours a week. I have nothing but praise to give Jennifer for the care she has provided us. She is very patient with our son and always caring of our family needs. Jennifer always has fun activities planned but takes great care in making moments a learning experience.
