About Jennifer

When I was younger, I cared for several children, ages ranging from infant to school aged children. Some of my duties included: Engaging with them through playful activities and games, preparing meals, bed time routine, light house cleaning. During my social work career, I Worked with children who experienced mental health and/or developmental issues. I observed and engaged with children during visits in their schools, which helped me to determine how to best fulfill their needs. I facilitated home visits with the child and their parents. These family visits allowed me to observe the interactions between the child and their parents, at which time I provided tools to encourage positive, healthy and loving communication between each other.
