SBEC Certified Elementary Education Teacher offering one-on-one tutoring for your child. I hold a Bachelors in Applied Learning and Development for Elementary Education with a minor in Educational Psychology. I've spent the past 6 years in public schools working with children and helping individualize instruction for optimal student success. Tutoring will include free assessments in order to develop an individualize lesson plan based upon your goals for your child and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills which are the basis on the new STARR exams and Elementary Curriculum. Tutoring sessions are available in the southeast/south central area neighborhood libraries or in your home. I'm available weekdays 4 p.m. -8 p.m. and on Saturdays. I charge $30 per hour, which is payable in cash or by check, at the time of the session. This price includes follow-up questions through email or by phone, preparation time on my part, free assessments, and communication with your child's teacher (with your permission). No contracts, though it is recommended that your child meets twice a week. 30 minute sessions also available - contact for pricing.
