I'm a Mom to three boys (one who is 15, and two step-sons, 22 and 25) and have been caring for kids since I was 14. I have a strong background in education and childcare, including preschool, kindergarten, and special education. 

I currently work full-time at a local elementary school as a para-professional supporting students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs. 

During the school year, I'm available evenings and weekends, and I have more open availability during school breaks. (This includes summer, Thanksgiving and winter break.)

With my experience, I'm confident caring for multiple children at once and love keeping kids engaged with activities that match their ages, personalities, and interests. Whether it's helping with homework, playing games, or winding down for bedtime, I aim to create a safe, fun, and calm environment.

I'm comfortable with pets, a non-smoker, and fully vaccinated and boosted.

Jen was truly amazing with our two-year-old son this summer! He connected with her almost instantly, which speaks to her gentle and caring nature. She was always on time and ready to dive right in. Jen was amazing with our two kids! We were visiting from out of town, and she took the time to FaceTime with us beforehand to meet the kids. She was reliable, responsible, and the kids loved her! Our littlest one can be kind of clingy in new situations, but he really took to Jen! He kept asking for her after she left. We'll definitely ask her to babysit again when we are back in town!

Jen was amazing! Kept us updated (hourly... which we appreciated) with pictures of our 7mo while we were in town for a wedding. She was calm, competent, and immediately engaged with our son and we were at ease right away :) 

Hands down the best sitter in OC MD area. We have a 6 year old girl who asks when Ms. Jen is coming back. Jen is on time, communicates proactively, and is just a lovely, friendly human. Jen is literally the best. 10/10 highly recommended!!!

Jennifer was really great with my 7-year-old son L.  It was so nice to have a couple kid-free nights out with the guys while on vacation.  I will definitely be using her again when returning to Rehoboth!  Definitely recommend Jennifer!

I was so nervous to hire a sitter for an out of town evening, but Jennifer was amazing.  She was great with our boys and instantly put my mind at ease. My kids love Jen. They took to her right away and my 2yr old daughter often asks me "When is Miss Jen coming again mommy," from the first day she met her.  My 1 year old son is very attached to me, so the fact that he was comfortable with her right away speaks volumes on Jen's demeanor and experience with children. It's been hard to leave him with anyone so seeing him reach for her puts me at ease. She always comes 15 minutes earlier than her expected time. Her calm spirit brings peace to my children. She is so friendly and I am so happy that my children are comfortable with her. She takes my kids on walks, plays with them outside, feeds and changes diapers, and reads stories to them. She has been such a breath of fresh air! I highly recommend Jennifer and we look forward to seeing her every week!

Jen was amazing. We had three little ones that she watched for us (two three yr old boys and a 6 yr old girl) while the adults went out to dinner. She fed them dinner, settled them down, got them ready for bed, and stayed with them reading them books until they fell asleep. She was great!! Would highly recommend Jen and we hope to use her again soon.

Jen has been helping our family a couple days a week this summer and has been amazing from the start; she is incredibly punctual, clearly is knowledgeable and has great communication. More importantly, our 2 year old almost immediately felt comfortable with her (which usually takes a lot longer for him!) and she's also wonderful with our 9 month old - and two crazy pups! Jen keeps our son active, thoughtfully plays with him on his level, knows how to incorporate learning into play and asks me how she can help when our youngest goes down/gets up from a nap. Overall, the experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive and I would highly recommend Jen for any childcare needs!
