About Jenna

Hello! I'm Jenna, a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, where I studied Sustainability and American Sign Language. I'm currently pursuing an associate degree in interpreting for the Deaf at Columbus State. With over 9 years of diverse childcare experience, including roles as a babysitter, nanny, farm educator, camp counselor, and soccer coach, I bring a well-rounded approach to childcare. I also currently work at the Ohio School for the Deaf, on top of being a student, so I am seeking flexible care positions here and there that fit my schedule. My childcare philosophy is adaptable and gentle, focusing on creative activities and hands-on experiences. I prioritize creating a safe, welcoming environment where children feel secure and loved. Additionally, I have 7 years of food service experience and am happy to assist with cooking, errands, chores, or driving as needed, as I have had my license for over 7 years and have a reliable car.
