About Jenna

I have loved working with children since I was a little girl myself. I started babysitting when I was 13 and did all throughout high school. I nannied throughout college as well as worked as an infant teacher at a daycare center. I graduated from Texas State University and got my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified to teach young children up to 6th grade. I also have an ESL certification. I spent the beginning of my career working as a Pre K Teacher at a private school in Dallas and absolutely loved it. For 9 years, I taught 2nd grade in Montgomery ISD. I have also tutored children from Kinder to 8th grade. I have a son and a daughter. I transitioned to staying home with my kids 2 years ago, but I continue to tutor part-time. I love to work one on one with kids. It's my passion to help them build their confidence, grow their work ethic and help them to feel empowered and successful!
