About Jenna

I have been studying Spanish for 8 years while I am currently finishing my Spanish major. I have had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica for 2 weeks when I finished high school, I had an authentic cultural experience while living with a host family. Additionally, last semester I studied abroad in Spain and also lived with a host family where Spanish was our only form of communication. Last year I tutored college students in our language resource center where I was taught many tutor strategies by a language director. I am very passionate about Hispanic culture and Spanish language and would like to use it in my future profession. In addition to tutoring, I have been a part-time nanny for the past 7 years and I have had children of all ages ranging from infant to 12 years of age. I am very energetic and love working with kids and fostering meaning relationships.
