About Jen
Experience: 10 yrs
I am a primary reading specialist with over 20 years of experience working with Kindergarten through second grade students. My goal is to build confidence and foster a love for reading in all children. I use phonemic awareness and phonics to build foundational literacy skills. Children learn to apply these skills to both reading and writing through the use of decodable text and leveled readers. I utilize a variety of systems and programs to give each child what they need to be successful.
