Growing up my family never had any pets, and I felt like I was missing out on the fun that came with animals. Instead, I had fun with all of my friend's animals and loved it. My best friend has a Bernese Mountain dog and she is practically my dog too. I look forward to having my own pet when she is old enough to produce a litter. At one point my roommates collectively had 4 animals in our house and I loved the chaos. I'm open to any other animal but have mainly pet sit for dogs and cats!
